Pickup Burns on I-15

(SHELLEY, ID) – A pickup caught on fire along I-15 near Shelley Monday afternoon. Idaho State Police say a man was returning from his father’s funeral in California and had the truck loaded with furniture when another driver flagged him down after seeing flames coming from the pickup. The driver suffered burns to his hands trying to save some of the items. The fire soon spread to nearby grass, which crews quickly contained. An investigation is ongoing.
