Rocky Mountain Power Customers Lose Service

(RIGBY, ID) – Nearly 17,000 Rocky Mountain Power customers were without electricity Tuesday afternoon. The power went out for much of the Upper Valley at about 4 p.m. Officials say the outage was the result of an equipment failure near Rigby, prompting rotating blackouts in order to better manage the system during repairs.
