Accident on Pocatello Train Tracks

(POCATELLO, ID) – Emergency crews in Pocatello responded to a car accident on the railroad tracks Wednesday. The driver was headed northbound on South Second Ave when he left the roadway, launched his car off a six-foot embankment, and rolled it three times before landing on the tracks. The driver, whose name has not been released, had to be extracted from the vehicle and was transported to Portneuf Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation.
