Baby Born in Parking Lot 33 Years After Dad Was Born the Same Way

Comstock/Thinkstock(CHICAGO) — It’s rare enough for family members to share a birthday, but nearly impossible to have them be born in the same exact way: in a parking lot.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports Illinois man Frank Pavlik couldn’t wait to come into the world 33 years ago, and so his mother ended up giving birth in the parking lot of the Louis Joliet Mall.
One day shy of the anniversary of that day, Pavlik’s pregnant wife, Erica, figured she was suffering false labor pains, as she had with her other children, but she was wrong. As her contractions got more intense, she and her mother drove to the hospital — but they didn’t make it.
Erica gave birth to their daughter Hanna Saturday morning in a parking lot of a gas station in Oswego. Erica’s mom performed the in-car delivery. Mother and daughter are doing just fine.
