Blackfoot Man Charged With Vehicular Manslaughter

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A Blackfoot man is in custody after a fatal crash near McTucker Ponds south of Springfield. The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Charles Neff was driving a Jeep and crashed it just after 1:30 Saturday morning. His passenger, 20-year-old Madison Bartausky, also of Blackfoot, died at the scene of the accident. Neff faces a felony charge of vehicular manslaughter. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident, which remains under investigation.
