breakingbad? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1376226764757(Lewis Jacobs/AMC)(LOS ANGELES) — The final season of AMC’s hit drama Breaking Bad begins on Sunday evening, and its Emmy winning star Bryan Cranston has a few ideas about how his teacher-turned-meth-cooker character Walter White should take his final bow.

“Walt has a large reservoir of good to be shared and he spreads his joy throughout the last eight episodes,” Cranston joked recently. “I think everybody will be satisfied with the ending where we hug it out.”

While fans of the series can’t wait to see how the show shakes out, Cranston for one, didn’t want a sneak peek. “I never found out and I never asked. I never wanted to know,” the actor said. “The twists and turns of my character were so sharp, that it wouldn’t help me to know. And so I was just holding on, much like the audience was, almost week to week. I would read a script about five to six days before we shot it.”

Breaking Bad airs on Sunday at 9 p.m.
