Chiefs & 49ers Swap Wide Receivers
Published at(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — The Kansas City Chiefs acquired A.J. Jenkins from the San Francisco 49ers on Monday for wide receiver Jon Baldwin.
The 49ers drafted Jenkins out of Illinois with the 30th overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. He appeared in three games last season during San Francisco’s run to Super Bowl XLVII, but did not record a reception.
The Chiefs selected Baldwin out of Pittsburgh with the 26th overall pick in the 2011 draft. In 26 regular season games, he has 41 receptions for 579 yards and two touchdowns.
