Giuliana Rancic Says She’s Ready for More Kids

Desiree Navarro/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — After having a difficult time getting pregnant and eventually having her first son via surrogate, Giuliana Rancic said she’s ready to expand her family again.
“I definitely want to have another kid soon,” the mother of one told E! News. “I’m ready, but [husband] Bill’s the one not ready to pull the trigger yet.”
The pair welcomed Edward Duke Rancic last August thanks to a gestational surrogate. The Rancics documented their struggle to conceive, including a miscarriage, failed fertility treatments and a breast cancer diagnosis, on their hit Style TV reality show, Giuliana & Bill.
“Honestly, I think it’s a lot harder than I thought it was going to be, just because you want to be such a good parent, you love your kid so much — but it’s hard when you have a career and a husband and friends. It’s hard to juggle it all,” Giuliana said about motherhood.
Baby Duke — as he’s called — is growing despite his busy parents. Giuliana is so busy that she only realized Duke had said his first word when she watched it happen on her reality show.
“Bill is holding Duke and he goes, ‘buh-bye.’ I’m not kidding. You can rewind it!” she gushed.
“I rewound it a hundred times and you can hear it. The best part is, I had to watch the show to know that my son said his first word because my husband forgot to tell me,” Giuliana said with a laugh.
Giuliana & Bill airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Style TV.
