(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A bomb squad from Mountain Home had to be called in Tuesday after a Bonneville County man found a grenade in his garage. Officials say the World War II-era device was found at a home on the 4000-block of North Ammon Road. The man reportedly put the grenade in a bucket and took it to a nearby gravel pit, where it was secured by Sheriff’s deputies. The bomb squad arrived at the scene at around 6 p.m. and detonated it at a landfill.
