“I’m not a very traditional girl,” she tells ABC News Radio of her decision to buck tradition.  “I kind of do everything outside of the box to begin with.”

Rossi proposed by creating an original song, “Time Is Now.”

The divorcée adds, “And you know I tried the traditional way…being the stay-at-home wife and all the things that came along with it.  And guess what?  It didn’t work out for me.”

Fans may be able to get a glimpse of her upcoming nuptials. “I’m on a reality show so it seems silly that I wouldn’t consider filming that,” she says.

Yet with all of her newfound happiness, her castmates — namely Tamra Barney — have already thrown shots at Rossi, claiming that she only proposed to create a story line for the hit Bravo series, now in its eighth season.

“It’s very hurtful and it’s coming from one of my other cast members.  And I think it’s ironic that it’s coming from the cast member that just recently got married on TV and got her own spin-off,” Rossi explains.

Barney became engaged on the seventh season of the show when her then-boyfriend Eddie Judge proposed.  The two will star in their own Bravo spin-off called Tamra’s OC Wedding, set to debut on the network Sept. 2.

“I feel like a lot of these women deflect a lot what’s happening in their own lives onto other people,” Rossi continues.

And unfortunately for Rossi, the drama doesn’t end there.  After the season finale on Monday, Bravo will air its first-ever three-part “Reunion Special” for RHOC.  “Part One” airs on Aug. 12.

Rossi dishes which cast member walks off the usually-heated set first.

“It’s always going to be Vicki [Gunvalson]; every time, without fail.  Vicki always wants to get up and leave,” she tells ABC News Radio.

During the “Reunion Special,” the 34-year-old also debunks a season-long rumor that she lied when she told Barney that she was offered a role on ABC’s Malibu Country.  Fellow cast member Heather Dubrow appeared on the show too and claimed a producer of the series had never heard of Rossi.

“I have the voicemail.  We actually play it at the reunion for all of the women to hear.  I showed the women the email on camera although they didn’t air it this season.  So the women have seen it.  The women know.  I don’t just make stuff up,” Rossi explains.

Another story line that may or may not get cleared up at the “Reunion Special” is why she’s so adamant about discontinuing her relationship with former best friend Alexis Bellino.

Rossi tells ABC News Radio, “There’s been some issues between Alexis and I off-camera that I’ve never spoke about on camera.  There’s certain things that you just don’t discuss because you know it’ll be very hurtful.  I’m not on the show to try and trash my friends.”

The season finale of Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
