(BELLEVUE, ID) – Bring forth the holy hand grenade! Domestic rabbits are plaguing the southern Idaho city of Bellevue. Town marshal Larry Clark says they aren’t harmless critters, but evasive pests wreaking havoc on gardens throughout the community. The rabbits reportedly escaped from their cages and have done what they do best – multiply. Idaho law allows gardeners to take lethal action to protect their plants. Clark says some residents are conducting nighttime patrols with flashlights and fish nets to keep the bunnies at bay.
