The 43-year-old man, whose name is being withheld, was arrested at his home on Saturday.

The suspect allegedly used his van to ram a gate on Kid Rock’s property and tried to break into one of the singer’s buildings, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Security camera footage showed a man at the property in a white van.

Kid Rock offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

A post on Kid Rock’s website described the suspect as a smoker in his late 40s or early 50s with a receding hairline, a mustache, and side burns, according to the Detroit Free Press.

“Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in,” the singer wrote on his website. “I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives.”

The suspect is being held at Oakland County Jail. His arraignment is set for Monday.
