Percy Harvin Has Successful Hip Surgery
Published at(RENTON, Wash.) — The Seattle Seahawks will have to make do with what they have on offense after wide receiver Percy Harvin had hip surgery on Thursday.
Harvin was brought in during the offseason to be a big target for quarterback Russell Wilson.
Head coach Pete Carroll spoke about what’s next for Harvin.
“There’s a long rehab process coming up,” Carroll said on Thursday. “He’s going to be in New York for a couple weeks to start off the rehab and then we’ll get him back here in due time.”
So is Harvin done for the season?
“We don’t have any dates or timelines,” Carroll said. “We’re going to be very optimistic and hopefully he’s going to get back as soon as possible.”
Harvin was placed on the physically unable to perform list.
