Ravens Acquire RB Delone Carter from Colts

Jim Rogash/Getty Images(OWINGS MILLS, Md.) — The Baltimore Ravens traded wide receiver David Reed to the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday for running back Delone Carter.
The 26-year-old Carter was originally selected out of Syracuse in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL draft. In 26 regular season games, he has rushed for 499 yards and five touchdowns on 133 carries.
Carter is expected to slot in behind Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce on the Ravens running back depth chart.
For the 26-year-old Reed, in his three-year NFL career he has five receptions for 66 yards.
