Report: Liam Hemsworth ‘Mortified’ by Miley Cyrus’ VMA Performance

Photo by Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — Miley Cyrus’ rocky relationship with on-again, off-again fiancé Liam Hemsworth was reportedly dealt a serious blow as a result of her raunchy performance on Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. Radar Online has learned the Hunger Games star was “mortified.”
The gossip website quotes a friend of Liam’s as saying the actor was absolutely “mortified” by Miley’s VMA performance and “couldn’t be more embarrassed,” adding, “He doesn’t see anything sexy about what she did on stage.”
Hemsworth was not present at the Awards, but heard about the performance from friends.
The friend adds that Liam is going in a more clean-cut career path, and Miley’s “racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn’t what he signed up for.”
The insider says Liam’s “entire team is urging him to part ways with her because she’s nothing but negative for his reputation and career. Liam is a serious actor with a growing career, while Miley has just turned into a joke.”
The insider says the 23-year-old Hemsworth “doesn’t want to babysit her anymore. He has to move on.”
