ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter has reported that Owens’ agent, Jordan Woy, has been in touch with a “bunch of teams.”

Owens, now 39-years-old, last played for the Cincinatti Bengals and had a productive year. In 14 games, Owens caught 72 passes for 983 yards as well as nine touchdowns.

But since then, he hasn’t been able to land on an NFL roster. He was part of the Seattle Seahawks last season, but was cut during training camp.

Still, Woy thinks there’s still a place for Owens in the NFL.

“I know if he goes out there and gets a shot, he’ll make a team,” Woy said. “We’ve talked to a lot of teams that have said he’s a great talent, we’re set as of right now, but if we have injuries, we may reach back out.”

Owens’ number are Hall of Fame worthy. In 16 seasons, Owens has 1,078 cathces for 15,934 yards and caught 153 touchdowns. But his attitude off the field has rubbed many the wrong way. His physical abilities were never an issue for Owens, but his interaction with teammates and coaches during his career has been.
