“The Hangover” Actor Murray Gershenz Dead at 91
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Murray Gershenz, an actor best remembered for his semi-nude scene in the first Hangover movie, has passed away. He died Wednesday in Hollywood of a heart attack, according to Variety. Gershenz was 91.
In The Hangover, Gershenz played Felix, whose pants are removed in a hospital room, with the Wolfpack present, while being checked out by a doctor.
Gershenz didn’t become an actor until he turned 80. He made appearances on TV’s Will & Grace, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Mad Men, House, and Jimmy Kimmel Live, as well as the movies I Love You, Man and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.
Gershenz owned a Los Angeles record store for decades, and his collection was the subject of a short 2011 documentary, Music Man Murray.
