Train Hits SUV in Aberdeen

(ABERDEEN, ID) – A train collided with an SUV in Aberdeen Thursday night. Police Chief Ray Dalling says the train was backing up when it bumped into the vehicle as it was crossing the tracks. The driver reportedly didn’t know that the train was moving at the time. The vehicle sustained only minor damage to a fender and a back door, but was otherwise driveable. No injuries were reported.
