VIDEO GALLERY: 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington

N 082813 PresMLK?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1377730071829JEWEL SAMAD/AFP/Getty Images(WASHINGTON) — Tens of thousands of people descended on Washington National Mall Wednesday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech and the March on Washington.

President Obama addressed the crowd from the Lincoln Memorial, as did former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. The event also featured members of the King family, lawmakers and civil rights leaders, including Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., who spoke at the 1963 march.
