Vikings OT DeMarcus Love Suspended for Four Games
Published at(MANKATO, Minn.) — Minnesota Vikings offensive tackle DeMarcus Love has been suspended for the first four games of the 2013 season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing drugs.
The 25-year-old Love will still be allowed to participate in training camp and pre-season games. He will not be eligible to suit up for a regular season game until Sunday, Oct. 13 when the Vikings play host to the Carolina Panthers.
The Vikings originally selected Love out of Arkansas in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft. He has yet to play a down during the regular season, after being placed on the inactive list during his rookie season and missing the entire year last season with an injured pectoral muscle.
