Attention Hunters; Carry Bear Spray
Published at | Updated at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Having seen several bear attacks in the region this summer, local wildlife experts are asking hunters to carry bear spray. Officials are anticipating even more bear encounters this fall as hunters take to the field. Authorities with the Wyoming Department of Fish and Game say walking to blinds or tree stands in the early mornings and late evenings increases these risks, since it’s also prime time for bear movement. They urge hunters to know how to use the spray if they need it, and to hunt in pairs if possible.
