Chief Theater Sign Getting a Makeover

(POCATELLO, ID) – For decades, the bright lights of the Chief Theater sign lit up the streets in Old Town Pocatello. Now, after spending years in a storage facility at the Pocatello Airport, the lights are coming back on. The group “Relight the Night” is arranging to have the sign completely restored by a business in St. George, Utah. They hope to have it back in the Gate City and on display at this year’s day-after-Thanksgiving parade. The group is selling raffle tickets to determine who lights the sign, and are offering other goodies as well. They can be purchased at Old Town Pocatello Inc., or at the Pocatello Co-op.
