District 25 Implements New Grading Policy
Published at | Updated at(POCATELLO, ID) – The Pocatello-Chubbuck School District is implementing a new grading policy for elementary school students. Administrators have decided to get rid of the A to F grading scale and instead issue report cards stating whether or not kids are meeting academic standards. They say the old scale was sometimes hard on the self-esteem of younger kids and didn’t clearly illustrate academic progress. The policy, which has been approved by the school board, will start this school year.
