London Duck Boat Sets on Fire, Passengers Rescued from River
(LONDON) — London ambulances rescued passengers from a duck boat that caught on fire on Sunday.
The call came in shortly before noon London time while the boat was on the Thames River near Bridge Street.
The boat had 28 passengers and two crew members on board, the BBC reports.
The victims, who were in the water for about ten minutes, were mostly just “wet & cold,” according to the London Ambulance twitter account.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Seven people were treated for smoke inhalation, the BBC reports.
