Martha Stewart Complains About Her Broken iPad

David Handschuh/Pool via Bloomberg(NEW YORK) — Martha Stewart is just like us. Well, in the sense that even the queen of domestic bliss isn’t immune to a hissy fit when technology fails us.
The TV personality took to Twitter on Thursday to complain about her cracked iPad, which had fallen on the ground. A shattered tablet can happen to the best of us, but Stewart then shared that she thought Apple might come pick it up and fix it for her.
“I just dropped my iPad on the ground and shattered two glass corners. What to do? does one call Apple to come and pick it up or do I take it?,” Stewart tweeted to her 2.8 million followers.
While Stewart said in a later tweet that she was joking, it surely didn’t seem that way. “I am still waiting for an apple rep to come pick up my IPad. No action yet.” And it didn’t stop there.
Stewart then publicly said that Apple’s public relations team was “mad” about her tweets and that this very iPad was given to her by Steve Jobs himself.
However, while the rush of tweets went viral very quickly — the first one has over 1,600 retweets — Stewart said they were taken out of context. One tweet, if we understand it correctly, says she didn’t want to deal with it silently.
When contacted by ABC News, Stewart’s publicists said she did not have any further comment on the iPad situation.
