Sharon Osbourne Reveals Past Fling with Jay Leno

Gregg DeGuire/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Before her marriage to Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne had a romance with the man who would take over The Tonight Show many years later. And we don’t mean Conan O’Brien.
On Monday’s season premiere of her CBS daytime program, The Talk, Osbourne revealed that she had what she described as a “fling” with Jay Leno when she was 25, not long after moving from England to the U.S.
Osbourne recalled, “I had met my husband, but we weren’t together. We were just friends. I didn’t have a boyfriend. I never did date a lot at that time, anyway, because I was not very date-able.”
She said a friend invited her to a club where she saw Leno perform stand-up comedy, and she thought he was “very funny.” The friend had Leno’s phone number, so Osbourne decided to prank him.
Osbourne said one thing led to another, and “he came to my house and met me and then we had a little fling. And the fling was more fling for me and not fling enough for him because a couple of months into it he brought around the real love of his life for me to meet.”
Osbourne pointed out that she maintained a friendship with Leno that continues to this very day.
When asked if the sex with Leno was good, Osbourne quipped, “It was too long ago, I can’t remember!”
Osbourne, 60, discussed her fling with Leno as part of her show’s week-long “The Talk Tells All” segment, during which the co-hosts will share personal secrets.
