Toddler Identified in Yellowstone Shooting Death
Published at | Updated at(POCATELLO, ID) – Yellowstone National Park officials have identified the victim of an accidental shooting over the weekend as a Pocatello toddler. Investigators say 3-year-old Ella Tucker died Saturday at the Grant Village Campground after shooting herself with a handgun. The victim’s mother immediately called 911 for help, but paramedics were unable to revive the girl. Officials have not said how the girl got ahold of the gun. Firearms have been allowed in Yellowstone since 2010, and Tucker’s was the first fatal shooting in the park in more than 35 years.
