Apple-Hungry Grizzly Relocated
Published at | Updated at(ASHTON, ID) – An apple-hungry grizzly bear known to frequent an orchard near Ashton has been relocated. Idaho Fish and Game officials say the 300-pound female was caught on a Trail Cam by Ronald and Alice Brenchley. They, in turn, called state wildlife officials to come in and set up a trap in order to keep the area safer. Authorities say the bear caused some damage to the trees but was not known to cause problems previously. Two other black bears have been spotted on the property as well, though they haven’t been captured.
