Brady was sacked four times and had his streak of 52 consecutive games with a touchdown pass broken in the Bengals (3-2) 13-6 win over the Patriots.

“I’m bummed that we lost,” Brady said. “I think that’s all that really matters.”

The last time the Patriots were held without a touchdown was Sept. 20, 2009 against the Jets.

“That’s a great accomplishment,” coach Marvin Lewis said. “I don’t normally give out game balls, but I gave that one to (Bengals defensive coordinator Mike) Zimmer. They played well today. They were tight in coverage most of the day. Upfront, they got after it.”

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 212 yards and an interception in the victory.
