( REXBURG, ID ) – BYU-Idaho’s enrollment dropped 4.2 percent this semester compared to Fall 2012, with more than 15,500 students currently taking classes. Administrators attribute the slight drop to a decision by LDS Church leaders last year to lower the minimum age for missionary service for young men and women. They note that because of the school’s three-track system, more than 28,000 students are taking classes within a given year. Officials say they expect to see numbers even out again within the next few years
