“I can’t hardly believe that. It’s just a bunch of junk. There’s always junk written — lies that aren’t true,” Barbara Sinatra, 85, who has a home in Rancho Mirage, Ariz., told The Desert Sun.

Mia Farrow, 68, told Vanity Fair‘s November issue that Sinatra is “possibly” the father of her son Ronan, 25, but says no paternity tests were ever done. Ronan, a former Rhodes Scholar and special adviser to the State Department under Hillary Clinton, was long believed to be the son of director Woody Allen. He was originally named Satchel, but now goes by Ronan.

Commenting on the story on Twitter, Ronan wrote Wednesday, “Listen, we’re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son.”

Farrow was married to Sinatra for 18 months when she was 21 and he was 50. She revealed to Vanity Fair that she was still involved with the singer even during her longtime relationship with Allen.

“We never really split up,” Farrow told the magazine.

But Frank Sinatra’s fourth and final wife told The Desert Sun, “It sounds like a phony to me.”

She added that there was nothing left to Ronan by her husband’s estate, following his death in 1998.

A rep for Allen told ABC News, “The article is so fictitious and extravagantly absurd that he is not going to comment.”

But Nancy Sinatra, the singer’s daughter from his marriage to first wife Nancy Barbato Sinatra, told Vanity Fair that Ronan Farrow “is a big part of us, and we are blessed to have him in our lives.”
