“Gravity” Leads Box Office for Second Straight Week
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — For the second consecutive week, Gravity finished at the top of the box office.
The 3D science-fiction thriller starring George Clooney as an astronaut and Sandra Bullock as a medical engineer who work together to survive stranded in space brought in $44.3 million this weekend.
Captain Phillips came in second place with $26 million, followed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, in its third week, with $14.2 million.
