Kardashian Clan Reacts to Kim and Kanye Engagement

Toby Canham/Getty Images(SAN FRANCISCO) — It’s official. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged. West proposed to the reality TV star at at San Francisco’s AT&T Park on her birthday Monday night. Now, Kardashian’s tight-knit family is expressing their joy over the couple’s engagement.
“A match made in heaven!” momager Kris Jenner told E! News in a statement. “I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye.”
Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter earlier Tuesday to celebrate the happy news, writing: “Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?!” Moments later, Khloe followed up her cheerful disbelief with a second post containing even more exclamation points, tweeting: “Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!”
Khloe’s celebration didn’t stop there there. Later in the day, the ecstatic 29-year-old posted a snapshot of the big event to Instagram. In the photo, the words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” appear on the field’s jumbo screen behind a live orchestra with the caption “Magical Memories.” Younger sister Kendall Jenner, 17, posted the photo to her own account sans caption.
Kourtney Kadashian, 34, celebrated the big news by posting a close-up of the AT&T Park jumbo screen to Instagram with the caption “She said YES!” Kris Jenner later reposted the photo to her account, writing, “Best night EVER!!! #happilyeverafter”
Kim’s BFF, Jonathan Cheban, also weighed in on the couple’s engagement, posting a slew of photos from the proposal event, including one of himself alongside the bride-to-be after the big proposal.
“I waited to put this pic up till the morning to make sure it wasn’t a dream,” he captioned. “It was the most romantic thing I have ever seen! Congrats Kim and Kanye…Love you guys, you are perfect together!”
While this will be West’s first trip down the aisle, Kardashian has been married twice before — to music producer Damon Thomas in 2004 and NBA player Kris Humphries in 2011. West, 36, and Kardashian,33, have one child together, daughter North West, born shortly after a judge finalized Kardashian’s divorce from Humphries. That marriage lasted 72 days.
