Man Hurt in Rollover Near Springfield

(SPRINGFIELD, ID) – An eastern Idaho man was injured in a rollover crash along State Highway 39 near Springfield Monday morning. 23-year-old Victor Contreras of American Falls was traveling in an SUV when he went off the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled his vehicle. The crash happened at about 7 a.m. near the crossing at 2600 West. Contreras, who was not wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. Authorities say Contreras is in good condition.
