Seasons of Hope Files for Bankruptcy

(POCATELLO, ID) – Seasons of Hope and CEO Heath Sommer have filed for bankruptcy. The mental health care clinic operated from eight locations in southeast Idaho, but lost its license last spring when state welfare officials accused Sommer of fraud. The clinic eventually got its license back, but now that is under appeal. The ensuing court battle forced thousands of Seasons of Hope patients to seek treatment elsewhere. Sommer is pursuing a tort claim against Health and Welfare for approximately $12 million.
