Shelley to Adopt Social Media Policy
Published at | Updated at(SHELLEY, ID) – The Shelley School District is considering a plan to revise its social media policy. The district is considering taking action against online bullies who are operating outside of school. The district currently blocks Facebook and other social media, but that doesn’t keep students with smartphones and data plans from accessing the Internet. In spite of this, they say they’ll continue to allow teachers to form class pages on Facebook to offer help with homework assignments, which can also help identify and report bullying when it occurs.
