Simon Cowell Has Name in Mind for Unborn Child

Frank Micelotta/FOX (LOS ANGELES) — Simon Cowell has confirmed that he and his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, are expecting a baby boy. He also hints that he has a name in mind for the baby — sort of.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 54-year-old X Factor judge says, “The first time I saw it…I called him Tad because he looked like a tadpole. I still want to call him Tad.”
When it was suggested to him that he could name the child Simon Jr., he responded, “That I don’t know yet. I’m still gonna go for Tad.”
Cowell says he wouldn’t have minded if the child was a girl, but, he adds, “I kind of knew it was going to be a boy. I just had this feeling, well, the fact that I was calling [him] Tad, you know, that is kind of a guy’s name. I just had that feeling.”
Silverman’s pregnancy was revealed in late July. At the time, she was still married to her husband, Andrew Silverman. They have since divorced.
