Veterans March on Washington, Protest Outside White House
Published at | Updated at(WASHINGTON) — A group of veterans, Sarah Palin and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, protested the federal government shutdown on Sunday.
About 50 people were involved in the protest which began at the World War II Memorial at about 8 a.m. and was highlighted by protestors grabbing bike rack barricades from a number of D.C. monuments and dumping them at the White House.
The protest sparked yelling and some minor scuffling with police.
