(WEST YELLOWSTONE, MT) – Yellowstone National Park reopened Thursday.fter more than two weeks of poor business, shop owners in West Yellowstone are thrilled at the prospect of having more tourists coming through town. Although the park isn’t as popular in October as it is during the summer months, travelers hoping to get a glimpse at the changing leaves are still an important part of the Yellowstone region’s economy. The park will close November 4, then reopen for the winter season December 15.
