“My family’s my rock,” the former High School Musical star said Tuesday at a press event, according to People magazine.  “I know they’re not going anywhere.  More and more, I’ve come to rely on my little brother to keep me grounded.  He’s 21 now.”

Efron, 25, reportedly completed a stint in rehab recently, though neither he nor his publicist ever officially confirmed the reports.  But at the press event, he alluded to hard times.

“I know my family’s always going to be there,” he said.  “As my life changes, sometimes they can’t really be there for you.”

Life is changing quickly for the star, who appears naked in a trailer for his new film, That Awkward Moment.

Alongside co-stars Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, Efron dished on his on-screen nudity.

“There was, like, a sock thing,” he said.  “It fell off.  You just cup your hands.”

Hitting theaters this January, That Awkward Moment documents the lives of three single men living in New York City.
