Goldson is suspended for next Sunday’s game versus Detroit which will cost him a $264,705 game check.

This is the third time this season Goldson has been disciplined for an illegal hit. Goldson was fined $30,000 for a Week 1 hit to the head on New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith. The very next week, Goldson received a one-game suspension for a hit on New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles, but Goldson appealed that suspension and won, having it reduced to a $100,000 fine.

The 29-year-old Goldson signed with the Buccaneers this offseason after spending his first six seasons with San Francisco. He has 50 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble this season.
