Sean Smith picked off Jeff Tuel in the third quarter for a 100-yard interception return to tie the game up.

Birthday boy and Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali was the beneficiary of an 11-yard fumble return in the fourth quarter.

Smith finished the game 19 of 24 for 124 yards with no turnovers.

Tuel was 18 for 39 with 229 yards, a touchdown, and threw two interceptions.  Tuel was named the starter this week after the Bills have been plagued by injuries to Thad Lewis and E.J. Manuel.  They also have Matt Flynn, who is still learning the playbook.

The Chiefs go into their bye week still undefeated and will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos in week 11.

Buffalo (3-6) will travel to Pittsburgh next Sunday to take on the Steelers.
