The actress said she found the ceremony very interesting: “It’s very unexpected, because it’s a very it’s a very, sort of anti-red carpet activity, because then you got to get cement off parts of you, and I love that.  It’s curiously parochial, and yet an internationally known thing. So it’s a combination that I found very eccentric!”

The acclaimed actress explained the event brought back memories of her father, who died when she was young.

“I haven’t been here, at the [theater formerly known as] Grauman’s since I was 14 years old, when my father brought me here…And we looked at all the hands and the feet, and, and it was, you know, history, and it feels is inconceivable to me that I should be a part of that community,” she said.
