Ford to Reveal ‘All-New’ Mustang Model on Dec. 5

Ford Motor Company(NEW YORK) — Ford announced on Tuesday that the motor company’s “all-new” Mustang model would be revealed to the world on Dec. 5.
According to a press release from Ford Motor Co., the sixth generation of the most “liked” vehicle on Facebook will celebrate its 50 years in production, a milestone that will arrive in 2014. Ford plans to showcase the importance the Mustang model has held for the past half-century via Facebook and Instagram each day leading up to the Dec. 5 event.
The Ford Mustang has over 5.5 million fans on Facebook and more than one million photographs tagged on Instagram.
The new car will have “a new design and great refinement, world-class power and performance plus innovative new technologies,” the Ford press release says. “Mustang is ready for the next 50 years.”
Between Tuesday and Dec. 5, Ford will share one video per day filmed by top Instagram video creators in a #MustangInspires series. On the final day of the countdown, the day of the reveal, Ford plans to release the very first image of the new car on its own Instagram account.
The official reveal events will take place in Dearborn, Mich., New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Shanghai and Sydney.
