Murder Suspect Arrested

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A suspect has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a Blackfoot man on Thursday morning. Police say Sheree Moreno is responsible for the second-degree murder of 21-year-old Salvador Valerio. The stabbing happened just after midnight in a trailer park on the 700-block of South Broadway. Detectives say Blackfoot’s last murder, which occurred five years ago, happened in the same trailer park. Moreno, who fled to Fort Hall, was arrested by Tribal Police Thursday night. She’s awaiting extradition back to Blackfoot.
