No More Foreign Gas for INL Buses

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – In an effort to “go green” and stay local, the Idaho National Laboratory is converting its bus fleet to use only natural gas as fuel. Officials opened the new Blu natural gas station at the site on Thursday. Administrators want to reduce the lab’s dependency on foreign oil by only using American-produced natural gas, which is plentiful in Idaho and Wyoming. In addition, natural gas comes at a much lower cost, which will save money for taxpayers nationwide in the long run.
