Police Respond to Gunshots in Pocatello

(POCATELLO, ID) – Pocatello Police responded to a report of shots fired Wednesday morning. Investigators say gunshots were heard on the west side of town near the 1700 block of North Main Street. At least six shots were heard, and two callers notified dispatchers about the alleged incident, which happened about a block from Sam’s Gun Shop–a business that has an indoor gun range. Authorities searched the area for clues, but did not find any evidence that a firearm had been illegally discharged.
