Search Suspended for Missing Plane
Published at | Updated at(MCCALL, ID) – Bad weather has temporarily suspended the search for a plane that went missing while flying over central Idaho’s rugged backcountry. A Cessna 206 single-engine plane took off from an airport in McCall on Wednesday, but never arrived at its scheduled landing site in the Frank Church Wilderness. The plane never sent a distress signal, though a transmitter message indicates that the plane likely went down somewhere east of Donnelly. The plane is registered to Wilderness Aircraft of McCall and had three people on board.
