Simpson Wants Third Federal Judge in Idaho
Published at | Updated at
(BOISE, ID) – U.S. Rep. Mike Simpson is asking Congress for a third federal judge in Idaho. B. Lynn Winmill and Edward J. Lodge cover all of Idaho’s federal court system, carrying a caseload that Simpson believes should be more spread out. Total filings have gone up 26 percent in the Gem State since 2007. Simpson says Idaho needs another judge because other states with smaller populations and less court cases have three already.
