Guard Marcus Smart and forward Markel Brown were the story for the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Smart poured in 30 points with four rebounds and four assists in the contest. He scored 24 points in the first half alone. Meanwhile, Brown scored a season-high 25 points and also had six rebounds.

As a team, Oklahoma State shot the ball well all game. The team shot 52.7% from the floor, and 54.5% from three. Five players scored in double figures.

It wasn’t all easy though, Purdue outscored Oklahoma State 58-45 in the second half, and trailed by as little as four points when they trailed 84-80 at one point, but they just couldn’t keep up with the Cowboys when all was said and done.

Five players scored in double figures for Purdue, Bryson Scott led the team with 18 points.
